Seattle Seahawks K Sebastian Janikowski is 40 years old and 260 pounds, and has never exactly been the most spry athlete in the NFL. But when you're a starter in the NFL you should be expected to give at least a little effort when an opposing player needs tackling.

On the kickoff following a Seahawks TD, San Francisco 49ers KR Richie James Jr. grabbed the ball at the three-yard line and promptly darted across the field.

After breaking a tackle, Janikowski was the last line of defense and went in for the tackle.

But as you can see here, he wasn't exactly thrilled at the prospect:

Janikowski apparently couldn't even be bothered to raise his arms to try and make the tackle as he simply barreled past James Jr. and let the man run. Two more Seahawks players tried to chase James Jr. down, but he outran them for the lead-taking TD. Suffice it to say, Janikowski quickly got called out for the low-effort "tackle attempt."

The 49ers are currently leading the Seahawks, 7-6. Seattle missed an extra point attempt earlier in the game.
