Buffalo Bills star running back LeSean McCoy was benched at the start of today's game against the New England Patriots.
McCoy revealed why he was benched after today's loss to New England.
The Bills' star running back revealed that there was a "situation" with his head coach.
“We had a situation, and he was totally right. It was a private situation. I'm a captain and I gotta be more accountable. Simple as that. He checked me, put me in place. That was it," he told reporters.
The Bills lost to the Patriots, 24-12, to fall to 5-10 on the season.
McCoy ended up carrying the ball six times for 9 yards. He caught 3 passes for 10 yards.
It'll be interesting to see how this "situation" develops moving forward.
