After two weeks of the 2012 NFL season, there are still 36 former Ohio State football players on NFL rosters. Some of these players have already made a huge impact for their respective teams, while others are still working hard to crack the lineup.

Keeping track of these players can be tough, so here is a chance to take a look at how every former Buckeye has performed in the early stages of this NFL season.

First, let's go over our offensive/defensive stars of the week.

Offensive Buckeye of the Week:

Brian Hartline - 9 REC, 111 YDS

Along with rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Reggie Bush, Brian Hartline was one of the main focuses of the Miami offense in week two. Hartline lead the game in receptions (9), receiving yards (111), and targets (12) while helping his Dolphins to a 35-13 blowout victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Defensive Buckeye of the Week:

James Laurinaitis - 10 tackles (8 solo)

After being a three time All-American at Ohio State, Laurinaitis was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL draft by St. Louis and hasn't looked back. As a team captain and starting linebacker, Laurinaitis helped to lead his Rams to a thrilling 31-28 victory over Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins. Laurinaitis had a game high 10 tackles.
