Nike announced today its revenues for the first quarter of its year, which ended at the end of August.
The Swoosh, which has made serious headlines over the past couple of weeks with its Colin Kaepernick endorsement, among other things, saw tremendous growth in Q1.
ESPN sports business reporter Darren Rovell had the details.
"JUST IN: Nike revenues for the first quarter, that ended 8/31, grow 9 percent to $9.9 billion. $40 billion revenue year within reach, as is target of $50 billion by 2023."
"Nike revenue in North America over the last three months up 6%, a significant rise given recent static growth."
Good for Nike.
