Nike's stock has had a lot more eyeballs on it than usual in the wake of the Colin Kaepernick announcement.
Of course, it's way too early to actually know how the Kaepernick signing is going to affect the company's business, but that's not stopping anyone from talking about it.
Nike did have a very good day today.
The company's stock has closed at an all-time high.
"Nike stock closes at $83.47, an all-time high for the company," ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted.
Nike signed Colin Kaepernick to a reported NFL-superstar type deal. The company released a new Kaepernick-focused commercial at the start of the NFL season.
The brand reportedly spent roughly $4 million on advertising for the new campaign last week.
