College football attendance problems have been a talking point early in the 2018 season. That discussion is only going to heat up moving forward, it seems.

North Carolina is hosting Pittsburgh in an ACC showdown at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C. this afternoon.

The game just began.

USA TODAY's Dan Wolken weighed in with the following tweet: "The consensus opinion in the college football biz is that UNC won’t spend the money to fire Fedora this year. But the crowd shots in Chapel Hill today are... holy moly bad."
