A notable NFL player's career could reportedly be "in jeopardy" moving forward.

Cincinnati Bengals' linebacker Vontaze Burfict reportedly sustained his seventh career concussion and his second in a month.

Burfict's career could reportedly be up in the air as a result.

"Bengals’ LB Vontaze Burfict sustained a seventh career concussion Sunday, and second in a month, which could put his career in jeopardy, per @Kat_Terrell," ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted.

Burfict, 28, has been on the Bengals since 2012.

The former Arizona State star defender went undrafted coming out of college.

Burfict has more than 600 career tackles and was a second-team All-Pro in 2013.

Cincinnati is 6-9 on the season and is set to end its year on Sunday against the Steelers in Pittsburgh.
