Notre Dame will be wearing iconic helmets for its Shamrock Series game on Saturday.
Notre Dame takes on Army in its annual Shamrock Series game in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday and the Fighting Irish have revealed what helmets they will be wearing.
Talk about some serious detail.
The helmet features iconic images from the Church of Sacred Heart, or the Basilica of Sacred Heart, which is located on the campus of Notre Dame.
The Shamrock Series began in 2009 and is promoted as Notre Dame's home-away-from-home game. The series presents Notre Dame fans an experience in one city that feels as if it is a 'home game' with events taking part for the entire weekend.
The Irish have never lost a Shamrock Series game and won last year's contest over Boston College 19-16.
Notre Dame and Army will kick off at 3:30 EST from the Alamodome and the game can be seen on NBC.
