The start of the second half of the Ohio State vs. Tulsa game has been delayed due to inclement weather.
The second half of the Ohio State game against Tulsa has been delayed at least 30 minutes with reports of lightning in the area.
The Ohio State Buckeyes' official Twitter page issued a statement saying that tickets for re-entry will be accepted.
The Buckeyes have used two first-half pick-sixes to build a 20-3 lead at the half, although they have struggled on offense. Quarterback J.T. Barrett is 8-of-14 passing for 69 yards and has eight carries for 16 yards. Tulsa trails the Buckeyes by just 34 total yards, despite being down 17 on the scoreboard thanks to the two interceptions returned for touchdowns.
The delay started during halftime when lightning was spotted in the area. Fans aren't letting the rain delay get them down, however, as they are singing a plethora of rain-inspired songs:
It looks like most fans have taken shelter already, as the stands appear to be empty. Warmups are set to resume at 6:15 p.m. E.T.
