Ohio State Leads Michigan State 35-3 At Halftime

Where was this Ohio State last week?

Ohio State was blown out by Iowa last Saturday, 55-24, in a game that completely shocked the college football world, considering how well the Buckeyes had been playing in the month leading up to the defeat. What a difference a week makes.

Ohio State, which is now a bit of a College Football Playoff afterthought, is currently destroying Michigan State in Columbus. The Buckeyes lead 35-3 at halftime, scoring a touchdown in five of their seven possessions. OSU's defense has given up just 104 yards to the Spartans.

Michigan State quarterback Brian Lewerke is just 8-of-22 for 49 yards with an interception.

Ohio State running back Mike Weber has 161 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries. This is a beatdown.

Ohio State's playoff chances may still be on life support, but a blowout win over a ranked opponent won't hurt. We'll see if they keep it up in the second half.
