Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow announced earlier this week that he was transferring out of the Buckeyes' program. Burrow, a graduate transfer, already has significant interest on the transfer market.

Burrow has reportedly already visited one program - Cincinnati. The Bearcats are led by former Ohio State coach Luke Fickell.

Playing at Cincinnati would allow Burrow to remain in the state, too. His dad is a coach at Ohio University, so staying close to home might be important.

Burrow is taking interest in other major programs, too. He's reportedly currently on a visit at an SEC school.

LSU has expressed major interest in the dual-threat quarterback. His visit with the Tigers appears to be going well.

LSU might be the favorite at this point. The Tigers are in need of a QB of Burrow's caliber.

We might have a while to go before a decision is made, though. Texas Tech, among other programs, is also believed to be a contender.

Stay tuned.
