A couple of football staffers at Ohio State and Texas engaged in a nasty Twitter fight over the weekend. It got kind of personal.

It started with this tweet from Texas director of recruiting Bryan Carrington.

Former Ohio State wide receiver Brian Hartline, who's now a member of the Buckeyes' staff, responded to it.

Carrington clapped back with a quote from J.T. Barrett about former Ohio State assistant Tom Herman, who's now the head coach at Texas.

Ohio State assistant wide receivers coach Keenan Bailey then weighed in with some photos of Ohio State players who are also from Texas.

Carrington responded with some shots at Ohio State's wide receivers stats. He also called out an Ohio State assistant for allegedly wanting a job at Texas.

As pointed out by Football Scoop, this all seems to be about a 2019 recruit from Texas. It's four-star wide receiver Garrett Wilson, a Columbus native who moved to Texas. He's a top Ohio State target.

Wilson visited Ohio State over the weekend.

He's also visited Texas.

Wilson is ranked the No. 6 WR in the 2019 class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Texas is currently the favorite to land him on the "Crystal Ball," but Ohio State is gaining traction.
