Packers vs. Falcons preview:
The Packers looked great against the sad shell of a football team known as the Bears. Green Bay won 26-10 and Aaron Rodgers looked to be back in form with 326 yards and three touchdowns on 39-of-56 passing. The defense held Chicago to just 189 yards, and looks like the Packer defense we were all expecting preseason.
The Falcons, a team that began the season 4-1, have dropped two straight games. Last Sunday they collapsed against the Chargers, 33-30, despite having a 27-10 lead at one point. It's safe to say this game versus the Packers is a must win, especially after they pulled the same stunt last year, going 5-0 to start the season, only to finish the season three wins better at 8-8. This team, and Atlanta as a city are both on the brink of meltdown.
Packers vs. Falcons prediction:
I don't see anyway this game doesn't turn into a shootout. Though the Falcons are in a must-win scenario, I think the Packers have momentum and are finally finding a rhythm on offense after several weeks of stumbling in the dark. Green Bay takes this game, but it's awfully close and comes down to a last-sescond drive by Aaron Rodgers for the win.
