The New England Patriots will take on the Buffalo Bills tomorrow night on Monday Night Football. They will do so without Sony Michel.

New England's talented rookie runner suffered a nasty-looking knee injury last weekend. Fortunately, Michel wasn't as seriously hurt as it look, and he suffered no structural damage.

In fact, Michel even returned to practice on Saturday. However, he won't play tomorrow night.

The Patriots officially declared him out a short time ago.

After a slow start, Michel has been a stalwart for New England over the last few weeks. The former Georgia star has produced 422 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 95 carries.

With Michel on the sideline, expect a heavy dose of James White tomorrow. Kenjon Barner will also receive an uptick in usage.

As of now, it just looks like New England is being cautious with Michel. The Patriots have a two more games before a bye week, so it will be interesting to see when they try to bring him back.

The Patriots and Bills will kick off tomorrow night at 8:15 p.m. ET. ESPN will broadcast the game.
