The transfer train for Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts appears to be gaining some steam. The father of the Crimson Tide QB told Bleacher Report that his son will likely transfer if he doesn't win the starting job.

"Well, he’d be the biggest free agent in college football history," Hurts' father said when asked about the possibility of Hurts losing the starting job.

Hurts played in Alabama's spring game on Saturday. The Crimson Tide's other quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, did not, as he was injured.

The rising junior quarterback did not play very well. He threw a bad interception and struggled with his accuracy.

If you didn't think Hurts was going to leave before Saturday, you very well might now.

Paul Finebaum is not in this group, though. The ESPN college football analyst still surprisingly believes that the quarterback will be in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

“I still believe he’ll be there in spite of what his dad said the other day,” Finebaum said on WJOX 94.5 FM. “Did you see the greatest free agent in college football history on the field Saturday? I didn’t. I still believe JH can get Alabama to the championship game every year. It’s just a matter of whether he can win the one or two biggest games on the schedule.”

Hurts either winning the Alabama starting job or losing it and staying with the program would both be surprising at this point. But, it won't be that surprising if Saban decides to prolong the starting competition as long as possible, making it tougher for Hurts to leave before the season.

If Hurts does transfer, where would he go? Here are five possible options.
