The Broncos will turn to Paxton Lynch on Sunday against the Falcons, per report.
Trevor Siemian was limited to just one half of football last week against the Buccaneers after suffering a non-throwing arm shoulder injury and will be out agains the Falcons on Sunday. Paxton Lynch will make his first start of his career for the Broncos:
Lynch went 14-for-24 for 170 yards and one touchdown against Tampa Bay last week in what was his first regular season action in the NFL.
The 6-foot-7 quarterback played his college football at Memphis where he threw for 1,205 yards and 59 touchdowns in 38 games for the Tigers. The Broncos' first-round pick at the 2016 NFL Draft threw seven touchdowns on just nine completed passes against SMU during his senior year at Memphis.
The 4-0 Broncos square off against the 3-1 Falcons on Sunday with kickoff set for 4:05 p.m. EST. The game can be seen on FOX.
