The best week of the golf year has arrived, as The Masters are set to begin at Augusta National on Thursday morning.
Golfers have already started to arrive to Augusta, Georgia for this week's tournament. There's supposed to be some rough weather for the week's first couple of days, so some of the competitors got in on Sunday to get a practice round in before things tee off on Thursday.
One of those competitors is Tiger Woods.
Woods, 43, will be going for his fifth Masters championship and his 15th major title.
The four-time Masters champion was getting in some late-night work on Sunday evening.
According to Nick Faldo, Woods was the last golfer off the course.
Tiger Woods fans have to be loving that.
Golf.com had some details on his round:
The four-time Masters champion headed out to the course with just a wedge and a putter, feeling his way around the course for nearly three hours.
When Woods arrived on property shortly after 4 p.m., a handful of players — including past champs Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, Fred Couples and Zach Johnson — were already on the grounds. Woods hit several putts, signed a few hats for Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who was coming off No. 9, and took to the course with just a wedge in hand.
The Masters' first round begins on Thursday morning.
