The Philadelphia Eagles were scheduled to visit the White House on Tuesday, but as everyone knows by now, that visit was cancelled. President Trump announced on Monday night that the visit was off after only a select number of Eagles were reportedly going to make the trip.
Trump and the White House have since come out and been critical of the Eagles, talking about the national anthem issue and saying the players "abandoned" their fan base.
Philadelphia star cornerback Malcolm Jenkins has been one of the most-outspoken Eagles when it comes to these topics. The former Ohio State star did not kneel for the national anthem, but he did hold his fist up at times.
Jenkins was approached by reporters today regarding Trump and the White House visit.
The 30-year-old defensive back refused to answer questions, though. Instead, he held up signs.
The signs read:
"YOU AREN'T LISTENING."
"CHRIS LONG GAVE HIS ENTIRE YEAR'S SALARY TO EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES."
"COLIN KAEPERNICK GAVE $1 MILLION TO CHARITY."
"DEVIN MCCOURTY, DURON HARMON, MATT SLATER AND JOHNSON BADEMOSI LOBBIED TO RAISE THE AGE FROM 7 TO 12 ENTERING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM."
Garafolo also tweeted out a video of what the session was like. You can watch it below:
