Ravens vs. Jets preview:

The Jets opened the season with a 23-22 loss to the Bengals. They then improved to 1-1 on the year with a win in Buffalo but since then have lost four straight games. New York's most recent loss came this past Monday night where it fell to the Cardinals in Arizona, 28-3.

The Ravens began the year with three straight wins including two road wins over the Browns and Jaguars. Since then, Baltimore has hit a rough spot as it has dropped three straight games. Baltimore's most recent loss came on Oct. 16 as it played visitor to the New York Giants.

The Jets and Ravens have played just nine times in history, with the Ravens holding a 8-1 advantage in the regular season series. The two teams have never met in the postseason.

Ravens vs. Jets prediction:

The Jets' offense is simply non existent as they find themselves in the midst of some quarterback controversy. The Ravens on the other hand haven't necessarily lit up the scoreboard either, but certainly have more firepower on offense than the Jets.

On the flip side of things, the Ravens' defense is far superior to the Jets and that gives the Ravens the clear advantage here. Joe Flacco will have a good day through the air and the Ravens get back in the win column.
