Video: NFL Field Appears To Be In Brutal Shape Today

The Redskins and the Packers are getting ready to kick off at FedEx Field in Washington, D.C. this afternoon. It's going to be a sloppy day.

It's been raining hard in the D.C. area this morning and FedEx Field doesn't have the kind of playing surface that handles bad weather very well. At least, it hasn't in previous years.

Here's what the sidelines at FedEx Field look like today:

It's going to be a very wet afternoon for the Packers and the Redskins.

This is likely pretty nerve-racking for Packers fans, as star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still nursing a less-than 100 percent knee.
