The Yahoo! Sports' bombshell report on corruption within the college basketball world featured a number of details, implicating several major programs.

One of those details: an agent tried to broker a deal between two Big Ten programs and a five-star recruit. The recruit ended up committing elsewhere.

Yahoo! Sports reports that agent Christian Dawkins attempted to broker deals for two Big Ten programs - Indiana and Michigan State.

Here are the emails uncovered by Yahoo! Sports:

“Dwayne Stephens – Trying to close the deal on Brian Bowen for Michigan State. Trying to do a trade deal for (Spartans) Gary Harris, Miles Bridges, etc”

“Chuck Martin – Trying to close the deal on Brian Bowen for Indiana. I told him if we can work together and if he can push for us to get (Hoosiers) Thomas Bryant and OG Anunoby two projected first rounders from IU this year we can work something out.”

Bowen, of course, ended up committing to Louisville. His commitment to Louisville ended up getting Rick Pitino fired.

The FBI reportedly uncovered that adidas paid Bowen to commit to Louisville. He eventually was declared ineligible by the Cardinals and transferred out.
