The 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea are wrapping up. We only have a couple of days of competition left.
This year's games might be ending in controversy for one country. Part of Canada's team has reportedly gotten into some trouble.
According to a report by CBC, there has been an arrested involving Team Canada. An athlete and a manager have reportedly been arrested.
Susan Ormiston of CBC reports that a Canadian athlete and manager were arrested in South Korea for stealing a car and driving drunk. Neither the athlete nor the manager have been named.
The group reportedly hopped into an "idling" car. They allegedly proceeded to drive to the Olympic Village while intoxicated.
"Canadian athlete, manager arrested and released for stealing a car and driving drunk in PyeongChang. Police investigating won't name athlete; group hopped in an idling car and drove to athletes village, blood alcohol .160 according to Gangwon police, said they were cold," reports Ormiston.
She added: "Canadian athlete involved in car theft was with his wife and his manager, according to Gangwon police."
At this point, there are not any other details.
