A trade is reportedly likely to happen this week, per a report.
Carmelo Anthony to the Cavs has picked up a lot of steam since ESPN reported that Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland.
New York is reportedly willing to move Anthony and future first-round picks in a trade for the All-Star point guard.
Anthony, though, reportedly remains intent on getting traded to Houston.
Tarek Fattal is reporting that Anthony is "likely" to be traded to the Rockets as early as this week.
It's tough to imagine this moving quickly when New York would probably rather trade Anthony for Irving instead of whatever package Houston is offering. And since Anthony needs to waive his no-trade clause to make a move happen, New York can wait for a little while to see if he changes his mind on Cleveland.
