The former "Garbage Time" host is headed to ESPN.
Earlier: Last week, it was reported that FOX Sports' Katie Nolan had asked for an early release from her contract with the company.
Now, it looks like she will have a new home soon.
According to Sports Illustrated, ESPN has hired Nolan and will announce the move sometime today. It is unclear what Nolan's role at the Worldwide Leader will be.
While at FS1, Nolan hosted the Sports Emmy Award-winning "Garbage Time" from 2015 to early 2017, when it was taken off the air.
Originally, Fs1 said it would find a new place to showcase Nolan, but that didn't come to fruition and she's been on the backburner for the last seven-plus months.
It was recently reported that Nolan turned down a role on Mike Greenberg's new show on ESPN, so it will be interesting to see where the network slots her.
Update: ESPN has officially announced the move.
Nolan will start on October 16.
