An ESPN show is ending.

Even the Worldwide Leader can't escape the ever-changing landscape of sports media coverage.

After laying off over 100 people this year, ESPN was forced to change its programming for the coming years.

The network already announced it's breaking up the popular show Mike & Mike, and now another program will be gone with the turn of the new year.

According to a report from TV Predictions, ESPN will eliminate Buzzer Beater from its programming during the 2017-18 season. An ESPN spokesperson reached out to TV Predictions with the following statement.

“With more ways than ever to program our networks across all screens, we have decided to shift resources to better position ourselves for the long-term. We will leverage the reach and scale we have across our TV and digital platforms to continue to provide more college basketball coverage than any other company,” the network said in a statement.

Buzzer Beater is the RedZone of college basketball, showing live look-ins and analysis of college basketball. It's just the latest in a long list of programming changes for the coming year.
