LeBron James would reportedly listen to pitches from these six NBA franchises.
LeBron James is set to be a free agent this summer. The rumors are starting to heat up.
Earlier today, ESPN NBA insider Chris Hayes reported that the Golden State Warriors might have a real chance to sign the rival star. James would reportedly listen to a pitch from the NBA champions and it's possible for Golden State to create the cap space necessary to sign him.
The Warriors aren't the only team that might have a serious chance at landing him. Five NBA franchises, not including Cleveland, are reportedly in potential contention.
Haynes spoke to ESPN Los Angeles earlier this afternoon. He mentioned the following teams:
On Thursday, ESPN.com's Chris Haynes told 710 ESPN Los Angeles radio host Jorge Sedano that James would listen to proposals from the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors.
Haynes noted James wouldn't rule out meetings with the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Houston Rockets as well.
The Lakers are the team that has gotten the most play, with James having multiple houses (mansions) in Los Angeles. The Rockets are probably the best basketball option and have one of James' best friends on the roster in Chris Paul.
It's going to be another crazy-fun summer in the NBA. Stay tuned...
