As opening night of the 2022 NFL Draft quickly approaches, the Cleveland Browns still haven't found a trade for former No. 1 pick Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield isn't expected to be traded before tonight's draft, but a trade could be on the horizon sometime this offseason. According to Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot, a "handful" of teams have reached out with interest in the 27-year-old quarterback.

Earlier this offseason, Mayfield requested a trade away from the Cleveland organization that drafted him back in 2018. Just a few days after that trade request, the Browns acquired three-time Pro-Bowl QB Deshaun Watson in a blockbuster trade.

The market for Mayfield will be far less murky after the results of tonight's draft.

Both the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks have been mentioned as possible landing spots for the Cleveland QB, but the potential selection of quarterback prospects could derail those possibilities.

Mayfield is set to earn $18.85 million on his fifth-year option this coming season.
