Report: NBA Team Is Exploring A Major Trade Ahead Of The Draft
The 2018 NBA Draft is exactly one week from today. It seems like there's going to be a lot of movement at the top of this year's draft, as several teams could be looking to trade up or down.
One NBA team is reportedly already exploring a major deal.
The Athletic is reporting that the Memphis Grizzlies are exploring the trade market for the No. 4 overall pick.
The catch: Memphis wants to attach Chandler Parsons and his massive contract with it.
Are any teams going to bite?
The Memphis Grizzlies have gauged the trade market on a package of Chandler Parsons and the No. 4 overall pick, league sources told The Athletic.
Parsons has been injured a lot over the last two years. He's missed 94 games combined over the last two seasons.
The 29-year-old forward is owed $49.2 million over the next two seasons.
The 2018 NBA Draft class is a good one, though, and it's possible there will be teams willing take on two years of Parsons for a chance to draft someone like Mo Bamba or Jaren Jackson.
