Baker Mayfield finally saw the NFL field on Thursday night, replacing Tyrod Taylor under center in the second half of the Cleveland Browns' game against the New York Jets. He led his team to a comeback win in the second half.

Head coach Hue Jackson refused to name Mayfield the team's starter for Week 4 following that game, but according to a report, a decision has been made.

Cleveland.com reports that Mayfield is expected to be named the team's starter on Monday.

From Cleveland.com:

Baker Mayfield will be announced as the Browns' starter on Monday after coach Hue Jackson meets with the quarterbacks to tell them first.

He's giving the players the weekend off after Thursday night's come-from-behind 21-17 victory over the Jets, and when they reconvene on Monday to prepare for Oakland, he'll turn the reins over to his No. 1 overall pick.

"I think that you guys all feel good about where things are headed, so let's just wait and see and go from there,'' Jackson said on a conference call.

Mayfield was really impressive on Thursday night. The No. 1 overall pick completed 17 of 23 passes and threw for 203 yards. He had a QB rating of 100.1.

The Browns are set to take on the Raiders in Oakland next Sunday.
