Former Louisville head coach Rick Pitino is no longer directly involved in college basketball, but he's apparently still following the sport at a close level.

Pitino has been watching a lot of games early in the 2018-19 season and believes five teams are standing out so far.

The national title-winning head coach named his "elite" national title contenders on Twitter this morning.
