In light of the Josh Brown news, Samantha Ponder is trashing the NFL via Twitter.
On Thursday new details came out about New York Giants kicker Josh Brown and his long-term domestic abuse of his wife Molly. He had previously served a one-game suspension to begin the year due to his 2015 arrest for domestic violence.
Samantha Ponder, sideline reporter for ESPN, has taken to Twitter to voice her opinion about the NFL and its actions towards Brown and his situation:
Ponder is clearly very concerned about the domestic abuse policy enacted by the NFL and is curious why no action was taken against the kicker. Brown has a history with abuse, as he claims to have been molested as a young boy.
Brown admitted to domestic violence in letters, emails and a journal, according to police documents.
The documents were part of Brown's final case file by the King County (Washington) Sheriff's Office stemming from a May of 2015 arrest following an incident with his wife. As of September 2016, charges had not been filed.
It has been reported that Brown will not travel with the Giants this week to London.
