Penn State running back Saquon Barkley was the No. 2 pick in April's NFL Draft. Today, he officially agreed to his NFL rookie contract.

Barkley is about to be very rich. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Barkley's rookie deal is worth more than $30 million over four seasons.

The PSU star's signing bonus is worth $20 million.

The best part? His entire deal is fully guaranteed.

The Giants are paying Barkley a lot, particularly for a running back. But it is an investment they knew they would be making when they took him second overall.

The key for New York is Barkley delivering a massive return on investment. He was a standout in college, but he's going to have to put up some massive numbers in order to justify his draft spot.

Fortunately, Barkley's skill set seems to fit in well in the modern NFL. He has the potential to make an impact as both a runner and a receiver.

He'll be tested early on in the NFL. Barkley's first pro game will be against the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the top defenses in the league.
