Sean Lee missed the end of the Dallas Cowboys' win over the New York Giants on Sunday night. Here is the latest on the status of the Cowboys' star linebacker.

Lee, who's been one of the best linebackers in the NFL when healthy, was not able to practice today as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury.

ESPN reporter Todd Archer had the full update.

"Officially, Sean Lee did not practice because of a hamstring injury suffered late in the win against the New York Giants. Lee went through the early portion of practice that was open to the media. After the Giants' game, Lee said he felt he would be able to play against Seattle and the cramping was unrelated to the issues that caused him to miss five games last season," he reports.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett had said earlier in the day that he expected Lee to be able to do at least a little bit at practice. "Jason Garrett said he anticipates Sean Lee "doing something" at practice Wednesday after a hamstring issue cropped up late in the win against the New York Giants. Datone Jones (knee), Randy Gregory (concussion) and Xavier Woods (hamstring) will also be available for practice..." Archer reports.

A couple of the Cowboys' top defensive players have been banged up early this season. Dallas is set to travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks on Sunday. Stay tuned for more updates.
