One of the top freshman recruits from the SEC's 2017 class will not be returning for the 2018-19 season, he announced this afternoon.

Brandon Rachal, a four-star recruit out of Louisiana in the class of 2017, announced this afternoon that he will be transferring out of the program.

The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds a game in 2017-18, playing in about 16 minutes a game.

Rachal announced the news on Twitter.

Rachal was ranked the No. 7 combo guard in the country coming out of high school last season.

There will likely be several high-major programs interested in landing him on the transfer market. Stay tuned.
