Another NBA Team Has Entered The LeBron James Free Agency Recruitment

A couple of NBA cities have put up LeBron James recruitment banners in recent weeks, with the Cleveland Cavaliers' star set to hit free agency soon. Another NBA fan base has one-upped these efforts.

The Philadelphia 76ers - well, someone operating with the 76ers' interests in mind - have decided to fly some LeBron James banners at the NBA Draft. Banners are being flown by planes above the Barclays Center in Brooklyn a couple of hours before the draft.

The banners are reportedly being blown on behalf of PowerHRG, which has made previous banners.

ESPN's Darren Rovell has tweeted out some pictures of the banners.

The banners say "#PhillyWantsLeBron."

"#PhillyWantsLeBron signs flying over Barclays Center, site of tonight’s draft. Banners have logos of @PowerHRG, which put up the original billboards," Rovell tweeted.

Those are pretty good banners. Will it be enough to entice LeBron James to come and play for Philadelphia?

Of course, probably not. But it's still some nice buzz for a Sixers' team that impressed many in 2017-18.

The 2018 NBA Draft, meanwhile, is set to begin at 7 p.m. E.T. It'll be televised on ESPN.
