The Sweet 16 begins tomorrow night. There are four games on the docket Thursday and Friday.
Several teams who were thought to be championship contenders--Arizona Michigan State, UNC, Virginia--have already been eliminated. What remains is a mix of major programs and some upstarts and Cinderellas.
Sporting News writer Mike DeCourcy has re-picked his bracket starting with tomorrow's games. His Final Four is as follows:
- Kentucky
- Michigan
- Villanova
- Duke
As for the national championship, DeCourcy likes Villanova over Michigan. It would be the Wildcats' second title in the last three years.
"The Wolverines’ defense can stop a lot of people, but it can’t stop all the people on Villanova’s side," DeCourcy wrote.

The Sweet 16 starts tomorrow night on CBS and TBS. Texas A&M-Michigan, Kentucky-Kansas State, Loyola Chicago-Nevada and Florida State-Gonzaga are the four games.
On Friday, Syracuse plays Duke while Kansas takes on Clemson. Villanova will play West Virginia, and Texas Tech squares off with Purdue.
