A star college football quarterback had a bold message for his team's fan base at his bowl game pep rally this evening.

Washington State is set to face Iowa State in the Alamo Bowl on Friday night.

The bowl destination was a bit disappointing for the Cougars, who are ranked No. 13 in the country following a two-loss regular season.

Washington State's star quarterback, Gardner Minshew, is making the best of the trip, though.

Minshew got his fans fired up with a message at tonight's bowl game pep rally.

"We may have lost two games this year, but we’ve never lost a party," he said.

Washington State and Iowa State are set to kick off at 9 p.m. E.T. on Friday night.

The game will be on ESPN.
