Star College QB Will Not Be Playing In Team's Bowl Game

One of the top quarterbacks in college football will unfortunately be missing his team's bowl game with an injury.

James Morgan, FIU's star quarterback with more than 2,700 passing yards and 26 touchdowns, will not be playing in his team's bowl game on Friday.

FIU's head coach, Butch Davis, informed reporters of the tough news today.

Morgan, a junior, had thrown for 2,727 yards, 26 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on the season.

FIU is entering its Bahamas Bowl contest against Toledo at 8-4 on the season.

The Panthers are going for their first 9-win season in program history.

FIU and Toledo are set to kick off at 12:30 p.m. E.T. on Friday. The game will be on ESPN.
