One of the top graduate transfers in college basketball appears to be getting close to making a decision. He has a couple of major visits scheduled.

Joe Cremo, a graduate transfer out of Albany, is one of the most-pursued transfers on the market. Several major programs are interested in him.

The 6-foot-4 guard has two major visits lined up for this week. ESPN’s Jeff Goodman first reported the news.

“Albany grad transfer Joe Cremo told ESPN that he will visit Villanova on Wednesday and Kansas this weekend,” Goodman tweeted.

Cremo was one of the top guards in college basketball last year. He averaged nearly 18 points a game.

The Albany, New York native averaged 17.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. He shot 45.8 percent from the 3-point line.

Both Villanova and Kansas are losing key guards to the NBA. Cremo could come right in and help replace them.

Stay tuned for more updates. A decision from Cremo could be coming soon.
