According to a report from ABC 7 in San Francisco, Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry was involved in a car accident on the highway early Friday morning. Curry's car was reportedly hit twice during the incident.

Luckily, it appears that Curry is okay. The accident occurred on Highway 24. Here's more, via ABC:

"The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Westbound Highway 24 on the Oakland side of the Caldecott Tunnel.

A California Highway Patrol spokesman said Curry was hit twice; first a car spun out and hit him, then a second car rear-ended him. Curry's Porsche was damaged. But everyone, including Curry, appears to be okay."

The photo below, via ABC, shows the front end of Curry's Porsche damaged. The back of the vehicle is likely compromised too - since he was rear-ended.

Curry reportedly made his way to Golden State's shootaround after the accident. As for his status - he wasn't due to play tonight against the Trail Blazers anyway due to a groin injury.

It's unclear if Curry's involvement in the accident will change his availability moving forward - regardless of the groin injury. The Warriors are struggling right now, and sit with just a 12-7 record in the crowded playoff race in the Western Conference.

While the accident is unfortunate, it's great to hear that Curry is okay.
