One of the top transfers on the college basketball market has made his decision. He’s headed to the SEC.
Syracuse forward Matthew Moyer, a former top recruit, announced on Twitter today that he’s transferring to Vanderbilt. This is a big pickup for the Commodores.

Moyer averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds a game for the Orange in 2017-18. He announced his transfer earlier this year.
The 6-foot-8 Ohio native was a top 100 recruit coming out of high school. He was ranked the No. 10 small forward in the country by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
Moyer will have to sit out the 2018-19 season. He’ll then be eligible during the 2019-20 season.
