Report: Tennessee Suspends Cornerback Justin Martin For Georgia Game

The Tennessee secondary just got even thinner as it has reportedly suspended cornerback Justin Martin for the Georgia game.

Tennessee has suspended sophomore cornerback Justin Martin for its contest against Georgia this afternoon for a violation of team rules, per Patrick Brown of The Times Free Press.

The Vols' secondary was already missing a big piece as All-SEC cornerback Cam Sutton fractured his ankle three weeks ago against Ohio.

Tennessee will also be without starting linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin against the Bulldogs per Chris Low of ESPN. Reeves-Maybin also suffered his injury against Ohio three weeks ago and played a very limited role in the Vols' come from behind win against Florida this past Saturday.

Martin has appeared in three games for Tennessee so far this season and has nine tackles to his name.

The Bulldogs play host to the Vols this afternoon with the kick off set for 3:30 p.m. EST. You can catch the action on CBS.
