The 2018 NBA Playoffs are upon us (almost). The final regular season night of the year is almost over and the East and West playoff teams are set.

The final spot of the 16-team NBA Playoffs was decided in the Minnesota-Denver game. Of course, that game went to overtime.

The Timberwolves emerged with the victory, locking up the No. 8 seed. Minnesota will take on Houston in Round 1.

In the East, the bottom half of the bracket is set after some craziness in the final minutes. Miami is the No. 6 seed, Milwaukee is the No. 7 seed and Washington is the No. 8 seed.

The East's top seeds are: No. 1 Toronto, No. 2 Boston, No. 3 Philadelphia, No. 4 Cleveland and No. 5 Indiana.

In the West, a couple of seeds still to be decided. Utah and Portland are both 48-33 and playing against each other tonight. The winner gets the No. 3 seed, the loser gets the No. 4. Oklahoma City and New Orleans can flip from No. 5 to No. 6, too.

So, here's what we have right now:

Eastern Conference

  1. Toronto
  2. Boston
  3. Philadelphia
  4. Cleveland
  5. Indiana
  6. Miami
  7. Milwaukee
  8. Washington

Western Conference

  1. Houston
  2. Golden State
  3. Portland or Utah
  4. Portland or Utah
  5. New Orleans or OKC
  6. New Orleans or OKC
  7. San Antonio
  8. Minnesota

Here's a review of what can happen in the West:
