Week five of the 2017 college football season had quite a few surprises.

Between No. 5 USC's loss late Friday night and Saturday's full slate of insanity, the College Football Playoff race got a lot more interesting this weekend. A few pretenders, like Tennessee, Virginia Tech and LSU, were exposed. But we're here to talk about the teams that are going to be moving up in the polls.

Here are the five teams we think will move up the most after this week:

Georgia perhaps did the most for its perception this week, blasting Tennessee on the road 41-0. The Bulldogs were No. 8 in the Coaches' Poll heading into the week - expect them to jump USC and (idle) Michigan.

Washington State

The Cougars scored a huge upset win late Friday night, knocking off No. 5 USC to establish themselves as a contender in the Pac-12. In the process, they'll move up in the polls - like from No. 16 to No. 14.

Miami dominated Duke on Friday night, 31-6, putting the rest of the ACC on notice. The Hurricanes were No. 13 heading into the weekend - they'll like be No. 12 on Sunday because of Virginia Tech's loss.

Notre Dame

Notre Dame knocked off Miami (OH) this week, but it's actually what happened in front of the Fighting Irish that will lead to them being ranked this week. Notre Dame was the first team out of the Coaches' Poll last week, but losses by LSU and Mississippi State mean the Irish will be in this week - likely around No. 23.

Florida State

Florida State had to mount a comeback to take down Wake Forest on Saturday, and oddly enough, it was the first win of the year for the Seminoles. They were ranked No. 25 heading into Saturday - they'll likely be around No. 22 after the weekend ends.
