The Crowd For This NCAA Tournament Game Is Not Good

Empty stadium for NCAA tournament game.

The evening session of the NCAA Tournament games in Charlotte, North Carolina are about to tip off.

There does not appear to be too many people in the stands.

Kansas State and Creighton are set to get going in the 8/9 game. The winner of the contest moves onto the Round of 32.

They're not going to be playing in front of a great crowd, unfortunately. Neither school appears to have had a ton of fans making the trip from Kansas/Nebraska to North Carolina.

That's not very surprising. Still, it's not the best look for the NCAA Tournament.

Hopefully the stands continue to fill in. Tipoff is set for 6:50 p.m. E.T. on TNT.

The late game will feature No. 1 seed Virginia against No. 16 seed UMBC.

The second round contest is set for Sunday.
