The Latest On Chris Paul's Status For Game 7

The 2018 Western Conference Finals are going to a seventh game. We're all tied, 3-3, after Game 6 in Golden State on Saturday night. The series is heading back to Houston for one more contest.

Will we be getting Chris Paul for that Game 7? Here's the latest on the status of the Rockets' star point guard.

Paul missed Game 6 while recovering from a hamstring strain. He traveled with the team to Golden State and dressed for the game, but did not play.

It's reportedly less than likely that he'll be able to play in Game 7, but he's doing everything he can to make it happen.

ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has the latest details.

"Less likely than likely, but working every angle to try," a source reportedly told Wojnarowski about Paul's chances to play.

Houston doesn't necessarily need Paul to win a Game 7 at home, but it's pretty tough to imagine them doing it. The Rockets looked really good for about two and a half quarters on Saturday night before falling apart.

We probably won't know Paul's official status for the game until close to tipoff on Monday night. He'll surely dress and go through warmups and then we'll see.

Stay tuned.
