One of the most-known agents in the NBA died today. He passed away due to a car crash.
Dan Fegan, 56, died after getting into a fatal car crash in Aspen, Colorado. His SUV was reportedly hit by a bus.
"Fegan was killed when the SUV he was driving was hit by a Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus along Highway 82, the Colorado State Patrol said.
Two other passengers in the SUV, a 29-year-old woman from California and Fegan’s 5-year-old son, were airlifted to a hospital in Denver with serious injuries, according to Colorado State Trooper Gabe Easton. The name of the woman has not been released," reports the Aspen Times.
Fegan was known for being one of the most-ferocious agents in the game. He constantly attempted to get as much money as possible for his clients and was often ruthless in doing so.
Here's a list of the players he represented throughout his career:
- John Wall
- DeMarcus Cousins
- Dwight Howard
- Ricky Rubio
- Chandler Parsons
- Monta Ellis
- Kris Humphries
- DeAndre Jordan
Parsons took to Twitter to express his condolences.
"I can’t believe you are gone. I am forever grateful for what you did for me and will never forget that. This isn’t fair but i know you are in a better place and we will have a glass of red again someday," he wrote.
Rest in peace, Dan.
