The NCAA Tournament Selection Show Has Made A Big Change - People Aren't Happy

CBS' panel for the NCAA Tournament selection show.

The NCAA Tournament is almost here. It's Selection Sunday.

This year's Selection Show is going to be pretty different.

First, the show will not be televised on CBS. It's going to be on TBS.

Turner Sports opted to have the show be on cable this year. The two-hour show will begin at 6 p.m. E.T.

That's not the big change, though. The following one is.

The way the 68-team NCAA Tournament bracket is unveiled is being changed. People don't seem to like this.

CBS/Turner Sports says it will be unveiling all 68 teams first. Then, it will be "followed" by the brackets.

It's a bold change.

The bracket-by-bracket unveiling without knowing which teams had made it was one of the most-suspenseful things on sports television. Getting rid of that seems like a bad idea.

But we'll see. Nobody likes change at first - we'll probably get used to it.

The Selection Show starts at 6 p.m. E.T. on TBS.
