The Woman Who Went Viral During NCAA Tournament Game Is Daughter Of A College Football Coach

The daughter of a college football coach went viral during Saturday night's Michigan-Houston game after Turner Sports' cameras panned to the sideline.

The cameras were focusing on former basketball legend Elvin Hayes, who starred in college for the Cougars. But it was the woman he was sitting next to who drew all of the attention.

Meet Lainie Fritz, a reporter and anchor for KPRC2.

She went viral during Michigan's ridiculous buzzer-beating win over Houston on Saturday night.

Fritz is actually the daughter of a college football coach, too. Her dad is Willie Fritz, the head coach at Tulane. From click2houston.com:

Her father, Willie, is the head coach at Tulane University. Lainie joins KPRC from WCBD in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was the weekday Sports Anchor. Fritz attended Sam Houston State University where she was a reporter for Bearkat Sports Network producing content for GoBearkats.com and SouthlandNetwork.org

Fritz has seen her social media following spike a decent amount as a result of last night's game.
