One of the top recruits in the 2019 class has trimmed his list of potential schools to five. It's a loaded list, too.

Theo Wease, the No. 5 wide receiver in the '19 class per 247Sports' Composite Rankings, announced on Twitter this afternoon his top five schools. They are all big names.

The 6-foot-3, 194-pound prospect out of Texas announced that Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, USC and Texas A&M are still in the hunt to land him. The Sooners are considered by most to be the favorite.

Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State and others had all offered him a scholarship. But only five schools remain now.

Here's the full announcement:

Oklahoma and Texas A&M are considered by most to be the two frontrunners here. The Sooners have 65 percent of the predictions on 247Sports' "Crystal Ball," while the Aggies have 35 percent.

Wease is ranked the No. 31 overall recruit in the class.

It's unclear at this point when a decision will be made. Stay tuned.
